MJ Preformance Art
14,000+ limited edition MJ color/flavor gatorade bottles, 16 hours and however much excruciating preplanning and pre-production to recreate one of Michael Jordan’s most memoriable photos.
Craziest part, not a single person from this whole creative group got a headache during the entire project. That’s just nuts.
Type: Now Made by Cars.
Well, it’s offical. Anything can get coporate sponsorship these days. {via idsgn}

The Pen Story
What a better way to start your morning than finding an amazing link to a video like this from your buddy Kirk.
To create the stop motion for this advert, 60,000 pictures were taken, 9,600 prints were developed and over 1,800 pictures were shot again. With no post production, this clip is a face melter when you try and wrap your noggin around what went into the creation.
Santa Anita Canyon

Just got back from a 24 hour get away to the Santa Anita Canyon with Craig and Tom. We hiked in a few miles on the Lower Water Creek trail and camped out for the night at Hogees.
It was great time. I’ve put the rest up the photos up on Flickr.
4 Nights, 4 Days and Some Giant Trees

Just got back from spending some time up around the Sequioa National Forest. Rest of the photos are up on Flickr.
Erik Nitsche’s Flickr Sets

If you do or donnot have anything better to do than sift your way through some amazing Flickr sets, make sure to not miss the beauts that belong to Erik Nitsche.
Some of my favorites being the one I posted here, this General Dynamics ad #1, an Acoustics and Communications folder that stopped me in my tracks, General Dynamics ad #2 and this brilliant General Dynamics 1955 Annual Report cover.
Celebration of Creation

Happy 4th of July to everyone. Have fun, enjoy the sun, some suds, dawgs, fireworks and friends but, remember Born in the U.S.A. by Bruce Springsteen is not a patriotic song. On the other hand, if you want to play I’m Going Down, that is fully acceptable because it will play every hour on the hour where ever I am.
Cheers to ‘Merica.
